Congressman Lawson has served the people of Florida for 28 years in the state legislature as a member of the Florida House of Representative and the Florida Senate. There, he was a champion for state employees and all working people in North Florida. Re-elected for a third term in November 2020, Lawson represents Florida’s 5th Congressional District.
